Lenny Cohen and Me were friends
since 1959 .For these recordings I took a couple of synthesizers down and two amps . Len recorded us on his computer at that time . He was comfortable with all the drums he liked around him and we took a couple of weeks improvising , recording everything .Lenny died on March 3,2003. The duo tunes were recorded between 2000 and 2002 . We had been playing together for 45 years mostly as a duo with me on piano or guitar and finally on the organ like here . We never did find that third man we wanted but hired other partners for our many jobs around our town , Washington D.C.
